*Learn safe horse handling on the ground and in the saddle
*Learn all aspects of good grooming, how to saddle and bridle your horse correctly.
*Learn how to ride a horse with balance and confidence with correct use of hands, legs and seat.
*Western, English and Endurance saddles available. No matter which saddle you choose, you'll learn the basics of good riding. Learn to be a responsible, thinking rider on reliable lesson horses.
*Once riders have become skilled at the walk and trot, all students may start doing trail riding lessons. Take what you learn in the arena and apply it to riding in the open, uncontrolled environment of the trails.
*Lesson horses are available for lease to current students who take weekly lessons.
*Practice rides are available to students for $10 per hour, or in exchange for doing weekly chores around the barn. This is a great opportunity to really learn the ins and outs of barn management.
